Inputs and assumptions
The estimate assumes the same coverage for each coat. If your label specifies different rates, calculate those coats separately. Area excludes board edges, undersides, rails, and steps unless you include them. This plan does not assess structural safety.
Weather screening flags precipitation in the forecast or an hourly rain chance of 30% or more. Smaller chances, humidity of 80% or more, wind of 15 mph or more during work, and air within 5°F of the dew point prompt caution. These are planning flags, not product limits.
